She began acting at age four, and then saved up money from modeling to buy her first computer. Claire was running a 2400 baud BBS when the internet barely had pictures, began working for LAUNCH Magazine while in high school, and was on salary at the Digital Entertainment Network by the time she was 18. Claire attended film school at NYU and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Comparative Literature. She began directing and editing her own films and music videos and quickly signed to Partizan. Claire likes pirates, ghosts, 1922, subjective narrative point-of-view, elaborated movement systems, 19th century clothing, and films that elicit an innate emotional response. She has created numerous promos for artists including Sia, Brett Dennen, and Mat Kearney.
