Jason Jeffrey is a comedy director and screenwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. The son and brother of cinematographers, Jason grew up in the industry. His sensibilities as a filmmaker lend themselves to compelling performances based in realism amid often ridiculous circumstances. His masterful sense of timing and pace amplifies every joke, mining every humorous moment for maximum storytelling impact.
Jason won a Bronze Cannes Lion for his work with KFC. He’s also collaborated with many well-known brands like Google, Goldfish, Casino Days, Real Canadian Superstore, and the Brooklyn Film Festival. His short film “A Teachable Moment” was nominated for Best Narrative Short at the Tribeca Film Festival and won Vimeo Staff Pick along with Jason’s other short, “Clown Face.” He was also recognized with an Emerging Filmmaker Award at TIFF.
