Shot in Noto, Sicily, short film Caruso follows an aspiring motocross rider through the pressures of youth and the weight of tradition, against the city’s Baroque architecture and Catholic landmarks.
The film blurs the lines of documentary and narrative, working with a cast of non-actors to explore the Sicilian cultural pillars of religion and family, and their continued presence amongst a new generation.
