He has animated on countless TV commercials for high-end production companies in the UK and Europe and has directed many high profile commercials including the Paddington Bear campaign for Marmite and the Specsavers Thunderbirds ad. Tobias was Key Animator on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr Fox, Lead Animator on Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie and Animation Supervisor on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs. All four films have received Oscar nominations for best animated feature.
Recently he was Animation Director and Animator on the multi-award winning short “Save Ralph” and Animation Director on the Netflix feature “The House”. He is currently Directing Stop-Motion Commercials again, recently for Vanmoof , Ilume and Numan.

The mayor of Megasaki orders all the dogs to be quarantined on an island after the outbreak of canine flu. A young boy arrives on the isle to search for his dog with the help of a few exiled mongrels.
