Artur Wolgers directs striking ads with his offbeat, wry comedy.
His work pairs strong visual craft with a dry, quirky sensibility, finding comedy in performance, timing and detail rather than slapstick noise. Working across commercials, short films and music videos, he brings humour and a strong visual voice to every piece. His short film Things Never Told recently ran the festival circuit, and he has received a Golden Egg for his commercial work. Whether collaborating with the likes of IKEA, Oatly or Burger King, his films feel polished, character-led and quietly subversive, without stifling the individual tone and presence of the brand in question. Off set, he champions emerging music talent and remains deeply invested in supporting Swedish football.
