Since 2007, Ilan has worked on almost 30 video shoots as first assistant director in Paris, working with the likes of Lodge Kerrigan, Noaz Desche and Bertrand Bonello.
Based in Paris and now Berlin, he recently decided to solely focus on his narrative screenwriting projects and other directing outputs such as CHAT (an interactive mini-series for Arte, 5×3’) and two music videos for Rone: “Acid Reflux” and « Vood(oo) ». Narrative, atmosphere, immersion, duality and empathy are at the heart of his cinematographic and artistic concerns.
